We are offering a unique garden cemetery underneath a Bodhigarma temple on the beautiful island of Sri Lanka to welcome your cremated ashes.This is available to all. It doesn't matter if you are rich or poor.
We operate this cemetery strictly on a donation basis.
About
The cemetery will be located next to a Buddhism temple in Kandy, Sri Lanka...The cemetery will be maintained by a local gardener on an on-going basis.We are building a Virtual Cemetery to allow you to record any information that you would like to be made available. The accessibility of this information will be left up to you, allowing certain information to be public while other information will be restricted to known people.Links to other data sources (Facebook, LinkedIn etc) can be created, allowing you to create a consolidated place for people to access.
The Team
The Shangri-La-Cemetery is the brainchild of 'Frank'. He is a writer, philosopher, painter and world traveler from Germany.
His idea is to provide a place for the ashes to be retained on-site, next to the monastery.The garden will be maintained by a local gardener whilst you can optionally request that a monk bless the ashes.
